Light blue is such a popular color for weddings. If you decide on having light or powder blue as your wedding theme, a common and useful tip is of course, make it as the color of your bridesmaids’ dresses. This will further strengthen your theme and add pops of color everywhere. For this color we recommend pairing it with some whites and really soft pinks.

Since brides will usually go for a beautiful long white wedding gown, it would be nice to include some colors on the overall look so it would be cohesive with the bridesmaids. This is a pro tip and an important wedding trick: use silk velvet ribbons on your bridal bouquet that matches the color of the bridesmaid dresses. It’s such a simple touch but it would go all the way and would look absolutely stunning on photos.

Looking a little closer at the bouquets, you can see the velvet texture of the hand dyed silk ribbons. These artisan ribbons were made so that their texture and flowiness can make a bouquet more dreamy and romantic. It would be nice to coordinate the colors of the ribbons just to give your squad a more cohesive look. Here’s a simple formula: Bride’s ribbon colors = bridesmaid dress colors and bridesmaid ribbon colors = bridal look color.

So.. would this color be perfect for your wedding? Let us know!
