Greet the new year with this romantic and dreamy wedding photoshoot featuring an exotic outdoor garden! Plus, learn how to accessorize the event with the perfect ribbons we have in store for you.
We want to kick off the new year with an inspiring garden wedding photoshoot with the perfect balance of modern and vintage with you! 2020 is a big year for wedding trends. One of the most agreed upon trend this year for weddings is simplicity. For today’s blog, we want to show you a garden-inspired wedding and the perfect use of vintage silk ribbons and table linens!
First off, we want to show off the nude silk ribbons used for today’s bridal bouquet. Aside from simplistic elements, another wedding trend bound for 2020 is the perfect combination of colors from dark shades to pastel tones.
For today’s bridal bouquet, we used light tones of nude ribbons to go with the floral bouquet used. It makes the bouquet pop without overshadowing the bride’s ivory gown!
Blue Table Linens with Ivory Table Runners for that Modern and Romantic Touch
Last year’s trending color is coral. For 2020, the classic blue makes its way back to the top as this year’s official shade. Of course, you can expect “something blue” in today’s blog! Blue table linens are the perfect shade to go with today’s garden location.
This perfect touch of blue accentuates the lighter colors of the location and other details in the tablescape. Aside from the ivory flatware, we also used pure white table napkins. The combination of dark and light shades make the tablescape pop and look very dynamic!
Looking for a little more “oomph” to the tablescape? Don’t be afraid to go for table runners! Since we used a dark blue table linen, we went for a translucent, organic-looking table runner for today’s blog. It complements the other details on the table and makes the whole thing look dreamy and romantic as well.
Velvet Silk Ribbons in Different Colors for the Wedding Accessories
The “something blue” doesn’t just stop with our tablescape! You can also use silk ribbons in different colors for the close-up shots of the wedding accessories such as the bridal shoes and the wedding invitations. Don’t just stop with one shade of blue, you can try including light and dark tones of the color to tie up the wedding motif!
If you’re also using neutral colors when it comes to silk ribbons, choose colorful ring cases and warm floral designs for that extra pop in pictures!
For today’s blog, we focused on two main things that are both significant in the new year: simplicity and color. Classic blue makes a come back this year so if you’re someone who likes to have “something blue” in their wedding, then this year is perfect for you!
xoxo,
Jeanette
