Parents always want the best for their children and this starts even before the baby is born. They celebrate when they learn that the baby has formed, when the gender is revealed, and when the baby is on its way—so much love that flows for the blessing that’s about to arrive.

The purpose of the baby shower is to celebrate the blessing of life and to honor and congratulate the parents for it. The party is as much the parents’ as it is for the baby so we recommend that the theme be something the parents might enjoy as well.

This shoot is from my personal baby shower for my son, Tiago last 2019. We used blue-green color combinations which is most pleasing to the eyes, and succulent and floral decorations. Time flies so fast but great design is timeless.

How fun is it that the food prepared for the event is cohesive to the desert floral theme? The presentation above says it all! The blue table textile by Amore Society beautifully brings out the subtle colors of the table decorations.

For the invites, we used the same color palette: beige, green and blue with hints of vibrant peach to keep the visuals interesting. The gorgeous silk velvet ribbons add fun textures to the flatlay.
Look at the actual succulent pads for the mom and dad labels with the baby shoes! That can’t get any cuter!
