Modern Romantic Fall Muted Tones Wedding Inspiration
We know that weddings are romantic events, they're supposed to be. But there's just something nostalgic and dreamy with fall weddings. It's the perfect weather for outdoor dancing too! The weather is not freezing nor is it too warm for you to worry about sweating on the dance floor.
There is nothing wrong with indoor fall weddings but most of the time, fall weddings use the grand outdoors with it's natural lighting and effortless beauty.
For today's blog, we want to use use hushed tones in a modern wedding setting. Our features wedding theme can be used for an indoor setting but if you ask us, it's more gorgeous to use this design outdoors!
Hushed and Royal Purple Tones Perfect for the Fall Weather
There isn't really a trending color palette when it comes to fall weddings. Mostly, the color tones depend on what the bride wants. It totally depends on what she wants for the big day.
However, the official Pantone color of the year is coral and it is already a famous color palette used in fall weddings even before Pantone announced it to the world.
We wanted to give you an option aside from the hues related to coral as the main color palette when it comes to fall weddings. In fact, you can say that we're going the opposite direction: we're going for purple.
Hushed tones of purple means we also went for shades of lavender, mauve, and wine. You can see this from the floral centerpiece and the overhead floral arrangements for our featured tablescape design for today.
Deep mauves paired with lilacs and lavenders set a romantic and royal tone for fall weddings. Hushed tones of pink and coral are also the perfect shades to go with purple. The key thing is consistency. Keep the cool, hushed color palette in every detail of the tablescape design. Light shades make the darker ones pop.
Purple Floral Designs Paired with an Old Rose Table Runners
Old pink table runners absolutely match the hushed purple tones featured in the floral elements of the tablescape design. Old rose also keeps up with the romantic mood of the design and is also great for modern weddings without sacrificing the classy glamor.
The use of natural lighting in this tablescape also makes the table runners look light and dreamy with the floral centerpiece that we have.
You can opt for wooden tables to go with your tablescape. Again, we want to be consistent with our tablescape design so since we used flowers and more flowers, we wanted to continue using elements of nature.
Flatware with minimalistic design and neutral colors were used since there is already a lot of complementing bold colors that are used in the tablescape.
We went for white flatware to create a light and clean table setting. We paired the flatware with metallic utensils for a more modern feel to the design. And don't you just love the dark purple menu on top of that clean, white plate?
You can always choose not to go with our featured color palette but we hope we showed you the one necessary thing when it comes to tablescape design: consistency.
Today, we used hushed tones in varying shades. You can try using bolder and brighter pops of color but remember to include it even in the smallest details in tablescape design.
xoxo,
Jeanette
