For When the Flowers Bloom: A Rustic Floral Micro Wedding Inspo
Weddings do not equate to grand and big celebrations of love. If you want to elope and want to keep your wedding an intimate event, a micro wedding might be the right one for you. After all, a celebration of love is not equal to grand festivities. It’s saying ‘I do’ to the love of your life at the end of that altar.
We know autumn just kicked off and soon enough we’ll be seeing a lot of color palettes in the different shades of fall, but we wanted to keep the memories of spring a little bit longer. This wedding inspo will use a rustic floral theme with the elements of a micro wedding to keep everything romantic and intimate.
Secret Garden of Love: A Romantic and Rustic Indoor Wedding Tablescape
Rustic elements paired with light-colored tones of whites and creamy pastels bring out an intimate picture that is as timeless as the idea of love. We based the tablescape to a micro wedding table arrangement to give you an idea of what guests might expect with this type of event.
Rustic wedding themes mostly love the use of dark wood and vintage details. Because of this, the flatware should stand out of the dark earth tones. Creamy pink pastels paired with vintage table napkins are a natural go-to. The white organic table napkins bring out a pure and elegant look to this tablescape.
Most of the colors we used are warm tones so to continue the theme, the floral centerpieces also feature warm colors of flora like yellows and light peaches.
What Goes with these Flowers: Light-toned Flatlays and Other Details
There are two key points for this intimate micro wedding inspo: rustic elements and the overflow of flowers. You can also choose an outdoor space and make a garden out of it but indoors is where you can feel the intimacy and closeness of a micro wedding. Don’t forget to choose vibrant-colored flowers as well.
They don’t only have to go to your table center. Flower pieces can also be all around the room to make it more alive and organic.
Flatlays are also a great way of showing off the small but important pieces of your wedding. Make a theme out of it and use the same color palette that you’ve chosen for your tablescape. Add a dash of color by adding silk ribbons as well in your wedding flatlay! Organic and silk ribbons also add to the rustic look of the flatlay. Lastly, these ribbons make it look more dynamic and popping!
It’d rather be a sin to talk about a floral-themed micro wedding without talking about the bride’s bouquet. For this wedding inspo, the flowers are as vibrant as they can be since they’ll be in contrast to the dark wooden tones of the room. This can also be seen with the bridal bouquet. Those pinks and yellows beautifully complement the bride’s porcelain white gown. Need more dimension to the look? We also added the gorgeous yellow ribbons to be more extra!
