Tropical Island Inspired Indoor Wedding Featuring Minimalistic and Romantic Nuptial Design
Enjoy this casual yet sophisticated wedding inspo perfect for destination weddings - somewhere calm, breezy, and sunny. We’re featuring some of the best minimalistic designs that will surely be the trend for this year!
Looking for destination wedding inspos that give off some chill Bahamas beach vibes? Well, we have the inspo exactly just for you! Summer and our obsession with anything tropical is only a couple of months away so we have prepared the best inspo for that!
Ivory Wedding Tablescape with Complementing Table Linens and Organic Table Napkins
We’re mostly used to grand destination weddings with over the top tablescapes and floral centerpieces in the past. This time, why not opt for the simple wedding details? Our wedding inspo relies on its pure elegance and simplicity. Plus, if you’re actually going for a destination wedding, why not let the destination itself become the effortless yet surreal backdrop of the event?
The tablescape works as an interior arrangement but because this is a minimalist design, this would also go great with the tropical outdoors! The transparent chairs go well with the pure ivory table linens we’re featuring. The organic table napkins also don’t need to be pops of color in this case!
The other tablescape elements are the ones that can bring different shades into the mix but don’t forget to compliment the colors you’re choosing with each other. For instance, since we’re using white table linens and flatware, it’s nice to include white flowers in your centerpiece as well.
White on white does work! We used organic table napkins for this inspo and as you can see, we paired them with ivory table linens as well as white flatware. The white table napkins added to the pure elegance of the tablescape and were not washed out at all.
Azure Touch: Flowy Silk Blue Ribbons for the Bridal Bouquet and Wedding Notes
We always recommend using extra long vintage ribbons in bridal bouquets for the added oomph. Today’s bouquet feature azure silk ribbons that flow effortlessly beautiful against the bride’s ivory gown! And since we’re going for that tropical destination wedding inspo, doesn’t this remind you of the perfect ocean waves?
The blue ribbons paired with the organic colors of the bouquet brings out the natural elements we find in nature. The color blue is associated with open spaces and gives off a calming effect to us. The azure blue ribbons undoubtedly match the theme we have for today’s blog! Besides, Pantone Color of the Year is what, again? Classic Blue.
To tie the whole thing together, we also included just a hint of blue in the inspo’s paper notes and flatlay design. Of course, we kept the ivory theme going as we used white paper on a white backdrop.
There are a lot of over-the-top wedding trends for 2020, that’s for sure. Still, you can never go wrong with the minimalist design, especially if you do it right. Here’s to hoping your destination wedding to be a blast, but more importantly, for it to be the start of a long-lasting, happy life with your true love.
Xoxo,
Jeanette
