There are just too many holidays in a year, so we can understand if there’s any confusion when we mentioned holiday inspired weddings. However, since December is coming up quick, we wanted to show you a slightly Christmas-inspired wedding theme! For today’s blog, we’re using a couple of Christmas details and adding other romantic designs to keep the occasion dreamy and enjoyable to everyone!

First off, if you’ve been with us for a number of months, then you’ll probably remember a tablescape design we featured a couple of months ago that also uses transparent plastic chairs. Modern details are an ongoing trend today so we decided to do a tablescape design with transparent chairs again!

Today’s tablescape design also features gray silk linens for more of that dynamic, modern feel. Besides, we have a lovely ceiling centerpiece with bold pops of color in perfect contrast with the table linens! Another element in modern weddings that was not used back in the day is intricate balloon decorations. We even added a mistletoe for the groom and the bride to share a kiss under!

The key thing with the table setup is complete contrast. The gray silk table linens bring out the luxurious mood so we’re balancing it with soft, dreamy pink table runners! Gray tones are neutral so it’s very easy to match them with other colors. We chose powder pink table runners because the shade goes well with the deep red tones of the whole design.

Who says black candles only come out in Halloween? This is another interesting point in the tablelay design. The linens and the candles are almost of the same shade so instead of contrasts, they totally complement each other! Our floral centerpiece is where the colors can play. We mostly featured varying tones of red and other warm colors to match the ceiling piece. 

Last but not the least, we also used transparent flatware to match the chairs. This holiday inspired wedding tablelay design is the perfect combination of modern and Christmas elements.

Luxe Velvet Red Table Linens For the Holiday Inspired Weddings

Since the tables are using gray silk linens, we decided to add more color to the whole occasion so we decided to go for velvet red linens for the cake stand. The black candles make an appearance again as they also go well with the deep red tone.

Black silk ribbons replace the candles in this flatlay design featuring wedding invitations and the like. Because we have a rather dark backrop, white flowers help accentuate the invitations and make the whole arrangement romantic and dreamy.

Last but definitely not the least, we’re featuring the perfect bridal bouquet for this holiday inspired wedding shoot. To keep everything consistent, we also used the same tones with today’s bouquet. The dark red velvet silk ribbons go perfectly with the different floral shades. Since this is a holiday inspired wedding theme, we wanted to include different shades of red in every aspect of the wedding.

Don’t worry about using black and other darker shades in a wedding! The traditional light tones in a wedding are expected, go for the unique designs! They are a welcome sight to guests and family members alike. Get ready to kiss your special someone under that mistletoe!
