Indoor Grand Palace Inspired Wedding Photoshoot With Silk Ribbon Details
Float down a grand staircase and celebrate eternal love in a grand, grand palace. We're featuring a to-do for bridal bouquet with the most exquisite silk ribbons.
It's been a while since we featured indoor weddings so for today's blog, we're going for that Grand Palais mood! You don't have to fly to Paris and rent an overly expensive palace to make your wedding dreams come true.
Nowadays, it's relatively easy to find the perfect high-ceilinged interiors with that grand staircase for you to float down to. Today, we're featuring a gorgeous bridal shoot with high ceilings and exotic architecture as the backdrop. This elopement photoshoot is the work of the ever amazing Ashley Baumgartner. Check out her website!
Hopefully, this blog gives you an idea on how to go for a wedding shoot a la grand palais!
Grand and Dreamy Bridal Look Featuring a Light-Toned Bridal Bouquet
Let's go straight down to business and look at the blushing bride! Grand palais inspired weddings usually make use of solid and blocky architecture with high ceilings and wide floors. Since there's a few solid elements with today's backdrop, we decided to go for a softer look for the bride.
Our elegant bride looks radiant and dreamy in this lighting and we are all for it! The bride's gown is not exactly pure ivory. There is the slightest hint of peach tone that compliments today's backdrop. Notice that there are various shades of nude in today's setting and we wanted to compliment the palette with the bride's flowy gown.
There are various muted warm tones in today's landscape so we added leaves in the bridal bouquet for that added pop of color. This makes the floral arrangement stand out amidst a sea of light tones. Last but definitely not the least, we also added extra long silk ribbons on the bouquet for that added zest. Notice how the pink silk ribbons trail down to the ground? It looks absolutely elegant!
Go for that fun factor and let the groom take a picture with the bridal bouquet! We're expecting the bride to throw it to hopeless romantics at the reception, but today's bouquet makes just about everyone look good. Exhibit A? Our modern well-dressed groom.
Elegant Bridal Floral Bouquet Featuring Silk Light-Colored Ribbons
Here's a close-up shot of the bridal bouquet if you want to see the flowers and the arrangement that were used. You can always opt for a whole new different color palette for the bouquet, of course.
For today's blog, we wanted to focus on light and warm tones. Since our gorgeous bride is not wearing a pure white gown, we opted for white flowers in the bouquet. Light yellows and peaches are featured as well.
The pink silk ribbons are already mentioned earlier but we can't just seem to get enough of it! The bride's hair and flowy gown speak casual elegance and we wanted to add a bit of zest in her look so we opted for the silk ribbons as an additional detail.
Grand palais architecture always scream formal elegance but it doesn't always have to be that way! You can still go for that soft, dreamy look even if the backdrop is quite the opposite. You can never go wrong with whimsical elegance when it comes to wedding themes.
We hope you got inspired with today's wedding shoot. Have fun dancing on Italian marble with chandeliers overhead!
xoxo,
Jeanette
