The Wedding Inspo Color Palette Perfect for Pride Month
We’re halfway through 2020 without knowing it! June marks a change in season and most importantly, Pride Month! For today’s blog post, we’re celebrating all forms of love and equality by showing off a warm and optimistic wedding inspo! If you’re also looking for an exciting color palette for an upcoming wedding, read more and see what we have in store for you.
Today’s wedding inspo focuses on monochromatic design elements, paired with a pure white backdrop. Our gorgeous brides are dressed in all white, with pops of our bosc pear palette and it completely looks amazing!
The Bosc Pear Palette: Of Happiness and Sunshines
Today’s monochromatic palette uses the bosc pear shade to make the whole inspo look more dynamic and warm. You’ll notice that we also used a lot of white with today’s layout, from our venue to the brides’ wardrobe.
Choosing a monochromatic design for your wedding can help you coordinate the smallest details quickly. We decided to go with a warm tone for today’s inspo because we wanted to celebrate the change of season as well.
We’re big fans of table runners but for this wedding tablescape, we decided to use a full table linen (in bosc pear color, of course) to accentuate the whole arrangement! Our velvet table linens make the tablescape look romantic and natural at the same time. Even that added vines texture on one side makes it a dreamy and organic look for a wedding!
Bosc pear is a loud color, so it pairs with the purity of white perfectly. The white candles, flatware, and floral centerpiece tie up the whole wedding tablescape as they complement our velvet table linens.
Adding small table pieces as well like the cute gourd above makes the tabletop look less flat and boring. We also went with transparent glassware to keep up with the simplistic design of today’s wedding tablescape. If you’ve noticed, we also used transparent chairs for guests and family to sit on. This lets the focus settle on the velvet bosc pear table linens!
Warm and Cozy Wedding Color Inspo on White Backdrop: The Start of Love in the Summer
Remember to use the same elements from the wedding tablescape with your flatlay! Besides, isn’t it an exciting idea to include small, orange gourds as ring holders? We also decided to interchange white and bosc pear as our backdrop.
Another design element you can also use in wedding flatlays is silk velvet ribbons! We went for pure white invitations against a clean white backdrop so the ribbons are a happy addition to the whole look!
You don’t really have to worry about color clashing when you go for a monochromatic design. For this wedding inspo, we chose other shades that are close to the bosc pear shade as much as possible. Flowers of muted oranges and peaches did not disappear on top of our linens. In fact, they made the flatlay look romantic and whimsical!
Keeping It Simple for the Gorgeous Brides: Complementing Wedding Floral Pieces
Because our tablescape and flatlay mostly used bosc pear highlights, we decided to dress up our brides in pure white. Who said biker jackets can’t be worn by a bride on their wedding day, anyway?
Of course, we included a tiny splash of colour to both of the brides’ looks. The velvet ribbons make a comeback to one of our brides’ wedding bouquet! We also mostly used white flowers for both of their floral pieces, but we added bosc pear-toned flowers in the mix!
We should celebrate equality and all forms of love every day of every year but Pride Month marks the remembrance of revolutionary people who fought so we can marry the love of our lives regardless of gender and race.
We hope this wedding inspo gave you ideas on how to design your wedding using monochromatic elements. Happy Pride, everyone!
xoxo,
Jeanette
